We were dressed as bridesmaids and had all the gear and the official dress material to boot.

Wow what a great and fab and funny and happy n crying eyes filled day.
Joe n Max jumped over the broom together in West Somerset where the cider apples grow.
Much more than cider apples love was in the air and for once peace was floating in the rain and crystal blue sky. The weather chopped and changed but not the love a friendships. It was really a special day. ALf said that this day alone made it worth travelling all those light years to Earth.
It was a great day and we met lots of new friends.
Once again congratulations both.
We will see you at the next wedding!

NASA spacecraft shuttlejacked by aliens?
We're not experts, but if we had to pick the one place where crime levels should be at absolute zero, we'd pick deepest darkest space. Alas, it appears that even there you shouldn't fly your spacecraft in the wrong neighbourhood.A German UFO expert has claimed that a NASA spacecraft may have been hijacked (shuttlejacked?) by aliens - who are now attempting to contact us.
Hartwig Hausdorf claims that Voyager 2 - an unmanned probe sent into space some 33 years ago to explore Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus (stop sniggering) and
NASA installed a 12-inch disk containing music and greetings in 55 languages in case intelligent extraterrestrial life found it (and spoke Flemish), but last month the probe began sending back distorted messages.
"It seems almost as if someone had reprogrammed or hijacked the probe, thus perhaps we do not yet know the whole truth," the author of UFOs - They Are Still Flying told German newspaper Bild.
Voyager 2 is currently more than 8.5 billion miles from Earth. Perhaps the alien criminals are trying to put Six Music on and the reception isn't so hot.

SCIENCE genius Stephen Hawking reckons aliens exist - but it would be a fatal mistake to contact them.
The physics professor takes a guess at what aliens might look like in a new documentary, which shows yellow lizard-like predators and large green herbivores.
What does he know ALf said that these Yellow Lizards are just being friendly.
The real enemy has always been the Dalek Race.
ALf has visited all the galaxies and found that the Dalek Race is feared totally on every inhabited planet. Even the Large green herbivores will have nothing to do with The Dalek's.
But the boffin fears ETs may come to raid Earth's resources. He said: "I imagine they exist in massive ships, having used up all the resources from their home planet.
"If aliens ever visit us, the outcome could be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in
Hawking, 68, who is paralysed by motor neurone disease, said alien life was likely as the universe has 100billion galaxies, each containing hundreds of millions of stars.
He added: "The numbers alone make it perfectly rational."

We went to the ploppy annual dinner which is held at the Broadway Golf Club because Clive is a member. His is a ploppy holder.
The dinner was very nice as we sat with Ei Ei and Mo and of course OLD FART and Lily.

Iceland's Mount Eyjafjalljokull volcano arrived in British airspace on north-westerly winds.
Over the past 1,100 years, Eyjafjallajökull has erupted four times: in 920, 1612, between 1821–1823, and in 2010. Each of the first three of these incidents directly preceded a major eruption in the nearby subglacial volcano, Katla. There is so far no evidence that Katla will erupt because of its vicinity to the current eruption in Eyjafjallajökull. Katla, which is a much more active volcano, known for its powerful subglacial eruptions and its large magma chamber, much larger than that of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano system, has still not shown any unusual activity, like expansion of the crust or seismic activity. However, one cannot rule out that possibility, since history has shown that Eyjafjallajökull can be a precursor to additional Katla activity. Some geophysicists in Iceland support the notion that the recent volcanic eruption at Eyjafjallajökull may trigger a second eruption at Katla, which would cause a major flooding event due to melting of glacial ice.

Compton Verney Director,Stephen asked for one small volcano ALf!
ALf said this time he did not cause the explosion of the Soufrière Hills volcano, on the island of Montserrat, sent a cloud bellowing up to 40,000ft. He was questioned because of his commitment to the future exhibition at Compton Verney in the summer.
At the moment of the eruption ALf, Uppy and OLD FART were lost in some backwater of Solihull.
Uppy said we were in a small time vortex all the blocks of flats looked the same
Maybe ALf had stopped the time continuum in order to nip off and sort the volcano?

Sunday 21st March 2010. Volcano Iceland
An Icelandic volcano, dormant for 200 years, has erupted, ripping a 1km-long fissure in a field of ice.
The volcano near Eyjafjallajoekull glacier began to erupt just after midnight, sending lava a hundred metres high.
ALf took literally the words of OLD FART after he had told us that Stephen the director of Compton Verney had request that if it could be arranged for a volcano to erupt somewhere in the world. Just a little one that it may help the future exhibition VOLCANO at Compton Verney
ALf returned very early this morning looking slightly ashen faced.
He told OLD FART that he has now done his bit for the arts and helped Compton Vereny on their way to meeting their visitor expectations for 2010.

We went to the Ashmoleon Museum in Oxford today with OLD FART and the rest of the weird folks from Compton Verney. The weather was fab! We had a fun day and their were loads of great sandwiches. http://www.ashmolean.org/
