Compton Verney Director,Stephen asked for one small volcano ALf!

ALf said this time he did not cause the explosion of the Soufrière Hills volcano, on the island of Montserrat, sent a cloud bellowing up to 40,000ft. He was questioned because of his commitment to the future exhibition at Compton Verney in the summer.

At the moment of the eruption ALf, Uppy and OLD FART were lost in some backwater of Solihull.

Uppy said we were in a small time vortex all the blocks of flats looked the same

Maybe ALf had stopped the time continuum in order to nip off and sort the volcano?

Sunday 21st March 2010. Volcano Iceland

An Icelandic volcano, dormant for 200 years, has erupted, ripping a 1km-long fissure in a field of ice.

The volcano near Eyjafjallajoekull glacier began to erupt just after midnight, sending lava a hundred metres high.

ALf took literally the words of OLD FART after he had told us that Stephen the director of Compton Verney had request that if it could be arranged for a volcano to erupt somewhere in the world. Just a little one that it may help the future exhibition VOLCANO at Compton Verney

ALf returned very early this morning looking slightly ashen faced.

He told OLD FART that he has now done his bit for the arts and helped Compton Vereny on their way to meeting their visitor expectations for 2010.

Friend of the week

JADE WOK

Today we went to Solihull to get gifts for all the gay ness-ness that will be wedding bliss.

We had some fun and met with the OLD FOGIES for a Chinese lunch at the Jade Wok.

Ice cream prawn crackers and Chinese beer.

We went to the Ashmoleon Museum in Oxford today with OLD FART and the rest of the weird folks from Compton Verney. The weather was fab! We had a fun day and their were loads of great sandwiches. http://www.ashmolean.org/
